Mandatory health and safety training

Mandatory health and safety training for doctoral students starting their studies at AGH University in the winter 2026/27 semester

Dear Doctoral Students,

The AGH University of Krakow Occupational Health and Safety Unit would like to inform you about the compulsory training on safe and healthy learning conditions (BHK/D), which is required for all doctoral students beginning their studies at AGH in the winter semester of 2026/27.

The requirement to complete the BHK/D training applies to PhD students commencing their studies at the Doctoral School following:

  • recruitment,
  • transfer from another university or a foreign university,
  • acceptance onto a course or placement under exchange programmes and bilateral agreements.

Training date

The Safe and Healthy Learning Conditions (BHK/D) course will be delivered on the University's e-Learning Platform (UPeL) between 15 October and 15 December 2026.

How to complete the training?

STEP 1: Click on the following link and log in to the UPeL platform using your university email login details:

STEP 2: Enrol on the course. 
Enrollment key: phdstudent2026en

STEP 3: Complete all the activities included in the course.

Confirmation that the training course has been completed

Information regarding the completion of the Safe and Healthy Learning Conditions (BHK/D) training course will be recorded in the USOS system within five days of the course ending (until 20 December 2026).

PLEASE NOTE!

The supervisor or supervisors, or the supervisor and co-supervisor, may checkin the USOS system whether the PhD student has completed the BHK/D training. If the training has not been completed, they may not allow the PhD student to carry out research work.
