The aim of the PRO-SLO project is to bridge the gap between activities in the raw materials sector and economic, social, and ethical discourse, as well as to prepare a professional workforce essential for ensuring social acceptance of operations in this sector (Social Licence to Operate, SLO). This will be achieved through the training of PhD students and second-cycle students, focusing on a deep understanding of the complex SLO process and preparing them to serve as ambassadors for the raw materials industry.
